Well Done – A Major Milestone
In general, our lives are filled with more ordinary kinds of days, punctuated by those extraordinary ones that stand out in our memories because in one way or another they changed us forever. Today is one of those days. It was 25 years ago today my darling chum Jackie, and her wonderful husband Dennis, were married! 
These two have loved each other, their beautiful family, and everyone who has crossed their path for the last 25 years. Our Two Chums motto is due in no small part to these two who embody, “love, joy and abundant living”. Full of so much love and overflowing joy, they spread it abundantly, like lovely flower petals at a wedding everywhere they go.
We have been covering the love story of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, for months. But this is another beautiful love story and one that has gone the distance and stood the test of time and the trials of life. They have had their share of glorious delight and messy challenges, both of which come when you blend two families and have 6 children and 13 grandchildren between you. And throughout all these years they have remained strong in their love for each other and their faith in God who guides them day by day.
What an encouragement and legacy they have already created and continue to build on. But amongst that string of more ordinary days today stands out. A wonderful and powerful work of love and commitment began 25 years ago today and it deserves to be recognized and celebrated….they deserve to be recognized and celebrated and given oodles of warm wishes and buckets of love poured out on them today.
Thank you Jackie and Dennis for the example you set, the joy you radiate, and the love you pour out to each other and everyone else so lavishly and freely. We are all better just because we know you. Happy Anniversary, and may I say very proudly dear chums, WELL DONE!
