Savvy Secrets – Pretty Pies
Everyone loves pie. But not everyone loves making them and more times than not it is because of the crust. Pie crusts can be intimidating sometimes. Especially when it comes to making them look pretty. So here’s a quick and easy way to make your pie pretty in a hurry.
Once you’ve rolled out your pie dough and put it in the pie plate with the edges folded under, use some tongs to grab the edge of the pie and crimp it all the way around.
Don’t have any tongs?
Pull out your corkscrew and use it to make indentations in the edge of the pie at evenly spaced intervals. How pretty (and easy) is that?!!!
