Savvy Secrets – Keeping Your Whites Really White

Do you have white sheets or towels or shirts that are not as white as you know they originally were? OR clothes that are
clean but look a little dingy?  We’ve got a solution for that problem that doesn’t involve bleach:-)
Actually we have three solutions we found on lovethispic.info:

Baking soda

Soak the clothes in a mixture of 4l water and a cup of baking soda, after a few minutes you will notice how the natural color returns to the clothing.

Vinegar and lemon

This is another phenomenal mix for stains on clothes — just mix lemon juice and vinegar with your detergent and wash the clothes as usual. Although the smell of this mixture is a little strong, it will quickly remove stains.

Aspirin

Crush 6 aspirins and add them to a bowl of water, then dip the clothes into the mixture for 30 minutes. Wash them, as usual, and the stain will disappear in the end.

We’ve used them all with success.  e have a “thing” about stain free clean laundry so are always on the search for new ideas about getting laundry fresh and bright as well as clean.  Give these a try and let us know what you think.

Please be specific about WHAT TYPE of vinegar, and what is “4l”? Do you mean 4 liters of water? Some of us are a wee bit slow and need guidance.

There is absolutely NOTHING slow about you, Mr. Horner!

      Yes, of course!

It would be white vinegar that would be used in this case and yes, 4l means 4 litres, or maybe even liters!

Thanks for your continuing support of Two Chums. We so appreciate it!
