Savvy Secrets – A Special Keepsake

Do you have a beautiful card from someone special that you can’t throw away, but aren’t sure what to do with besides keep it shoved into a drawer?  We’ve got a terrific idea for you!  

Frame that beautiful card and make a copy of the outside and the inside.  Attach the envelope to the back of the framed piece and keep the copies of the special note, or sentiment expressed, in the envelope.  This way you can enjoy the card everytime you see it and still be able to read the note that was written in the giver’s own handwriting.

These cards were framed as a series, all mounted on beautiful old vintage hankies.  You could choose another special kind of mounting, or matting, that you could use to frame all the very special notes that you have received over the years and then display them  in a grouping.  Going up a staircase as these were displayed is just one idea.  You may have many, many more and we would love to hear about them.
