It’s George Alexander Louis!

The new little prince has a name…George Alexander Louis.  He will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.  A big name for this little guy.  But then he comes from a family with a big history!
When you look at Prince George’s family photo this could be any young couple on the steps of a hospital with their new baby.
Their faces tell it all…they are overjoyed!  But not because they have produced a future heir to the throne…as Kate herself said, any new parents know the emotional feelings of love and joy that she and William are feeling.  That joy that new parents experience is truly the great equalizer.  Prince or pauper it matters not….babies bring joy and hope and a love that you didn’t even realize you were capable of until you hold that precious little life in your arms.

We each have a history of one kind or another and those who have gone before us help to make us who we are.  Though not all of us know our history or our ancestors.  Prince George will certainly know his.

His parents will surely do everything in their power to give the little prince a “normal” upbringing, much as Diana attempted to do with William.   Most children don’t know what their futures will hold.  Prince George on the other hand will grow up knowing the future that awaits him.  One way or the other he is “the boy who would be King.”  He will want for nothing that money can buy.  But he will still face struggles and disappointments and victories that we all face, only he will have to do it as the whole world watches.

His parents, as is the case with all young families, can use our prayers as they make their way into the new frontier of parenthood.  Little Prince George can use our prayers as well, as he will no doubt be the most photographed and watched child in the world.  Our prayer for him is that he will be blessed with a life full of love, joy and the abundance of loving friends and family that money can not buy.  May God bless you richly Prince George!
