Well Done – Geoffrey Owens

Recently, Geoffrey Owens, a former cast member of the wildly successful Cosby Show, shared some profound thoughts on the value of work.  We think his thoughts and his story are well worth sharing with you our chums.  Here is an interview he gave on Good Morning America:

We, like Geoffrey, believe that all work has value and dignity and that no job is more valuable than another.  So whatever your job is, teacher, gardener, vet, accountant, janitor, cashier, lawyer, artist, therapist, architect, doctor, housekeeper, parent and/or grandparent, homemaker, or you fill in the blank, REMEMBER, what you do has value, meaning and dignity.

Do your job with that in mind and you will no doubt experience joy, and a life filled with love and abundance!

As this day comes and goes each year, it is hard not to think about and remember what took place in this country 17 years ago.  Certainly, it changed the tenor of the land forever but, at the same time, brought out a spirit of love and caring amongst us that we do not always see.  Remember, we really are ONE!  Let’s stick together.
