The 4th Is Coming

The 4th of July is around the corner…make it sweet!

These Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries from dessertnowdinnerlater.com are easy to make and even easier to eat.

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries

24+ large fresh strawberries
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
1/2 cup blueberries

Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and almond extract if using. Remove stems from strawberries. Make an X cross cut in the pointed end of each strawberry. Using a piping bag or a ziplock bag with the end cut open, pipe the cheesecake mixture into the X opening in the strawberry and top with a blueberry on each. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
