To the bottom of your trash can add 1 cup of white vinegar.

Fill half way up with water and allow it to sit for 30 minutes.

Empty water and wipe completely dry.

To a paper coffee filter add 1/2 cup baking soda and twist the top shut. Drop into the bottom of the trash can.

Add a new trash bag

Dab some vanilla on a cotton ball and drop this into the bottom of the trash bag.

There you have it. A clean fresh smiling trash can. Add a new vanilla cotton ball each time you replace the bag and clean the whole trash can repeating the process once a month. Thank you @healthy.lifestyle.247 for this Savvy Secret.
