One In Every Color!

If one is good, one in every color is so much better!

We could say that about a lot of things but today we are talking about “pashminas”.  A pashmina is a type of fine cashmere shawl or scarf that became very popular several years ago and the trend has stuck!  I think because they are so very useful, people just do not want to let go of them.  That is certainly why your Two Chums still have them in their wardrobes.

Pashminas are wonderfully versatile and, for instance, worn this way, can dress up an outfit in a moment:

Or, worn this way, it will not only keep the cold from your neck but it will add a great touch to your outfit:

This way, your pashmina is acting like more of a necklace:

Certainly, pashminas can dress up, bring color to or add a touch of drama to an outfit in a jiff,  or just plain keep you warm!

There are a lot of synthetic pashminas on the market and they can be bought very inexpensively.  They are great if you are just needing to add some pop or a little drama, and certainly, if you do want to have them in many colors, this is the way to go.  There is a website for stores you may have seen in the airport called Bijoux Terner that carries synthetic pashminas in every color for $10 each.  You really can’t go wrong.

But a basic black or brown or navy, for example, in the real thing is well worth the money spent.  Not only will it complete your outfit but, being a fine cashmere wool, it will keep you warm and cozy on an otherwise cool evening.

We have shown pictures of a few ways to wear these wonderful pashminas but here’s a webpage that shows you many, many more ways to tie your loyal (and royal) pashmina.  We can guarantee that wearing a pashmina will bring you much joy!  Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge certainly loves wearing pashminas!
