Did You Know? – Barbie

If you were born anytime in, or after the 1950’s you likely had, or knew someone who had, a Barbie doll…or maybe many versions of the doll. In later years animated features that delighted young children were produced starring Barbie in the lead role. They included Barbie as The Princess and The Pauper, Barbie and the Diamond Castle, Barbie as Rapunzel, just to name a few. Later this month another much anticipated movie is scheduled for release just titled Barbie. This is a live action film starring Margot Robbie as the title character, Barbie, and Ryan Gosling as her boyfriend, Ken. There is no doubt Barbie is a phenomena.
