Well Done- Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock of Blindside movie fame, surprised, or one might say “blindsided” graduating high school students on Monday when she gave this commencement speech:
Joy in life doesn’t really come as a result of something that happens to us. It is a choice. A choice we have to make again and again and again, sometimes in spite of what life holds.
Sandra Bullock has been using her fame and wealth since Hurricane Katrina to help the Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans.
On Monday, at the graduation ceremonies she used her fame to inspire the graduates and all in attendance with some wise and powerful advice. And so we say to Miss Bullock…. WELL DONE!!! 🙂 We think Miss Bullock got it right….choose joy…EVERY DAY!

What a lovely woman. She does know the value of JOY in one’s life and I hope she encouraged those young graduates to carry it forward into their lives and to all who know them. She certainly raised the bar for other actors!
