Well Done – Never Say Can’t

***EXCLUSIVE***VIDEO AVAILABLE*** LOS ANGELES, CA - SEPTEMBER 25: Jen Bricker at her gymnastics gym on September 25, 2014 in Los Angeles, California. Jen Brickerís childhood dreams came true when she discovered her idol was in fact her long-lost sister. Jen, 27, was adopted at birth after being born with no legs due to a genetic birth defect. Despite her disability, growing up Jen was drawn to gymnastics and idolised American Olympic gymnast Dominique Moceanu. And after competing in - and winning - gymnastic competitions at State level, Jen learned a shocking secret - that Dominique was actually her biological sister. It is easy to remember what happened on this day 14 years ago and feel sadness or anger or fear.  All those emotions can paralyze us.  Our memories of the past, and what we see daily on the news, can make us think that things are bad enough in the world that maybe we won’t ever achieve our dreams … that we can’t overcome those difficult circumstances in life over which we seem to have no control.  So we thought it was important on this day to bring a story of triumph and hope, and a story that has a twist  that will again remind us that there is a bigger story, a bigger plan going on that we are all a part of.  Though it has no direct correlation to the 911 tragedy, it has everything to do with triumph, everything to do with outlook, everything to do with hope and always having a “never say can’t” attitude.  So in that sense it has EVERYTHING to do with this day.Jennifer Bricker was a little girl born with no legs.  Her parents abandoned her, giving her up for adoption on the day she arrived.  Though she had many accomplishments, her biggest dream was to somehow be a gymnast, like her Olympic gold medal winning idol, Dominique Moceanu.  This is Jennifer’s story:

No matter what has come into your life to cripple you, either physically or mentally, don’t be a victim.  Like Jennifer, choose to be a victor…choose to never say can’t.  Today we say to Jennifer and all those who each and everyday overcome life’s struggles…Well Done!
