VE Day

Seventy years ago today, victory was declared in Europe of the Second World War.Tuesday 8 May 1945 was Victory in Europe (VE) Day, and it marked the formal conclusion of Hitler’s war. With it came the end of six years of misery, suffering, courage and endurance across the world.

We are so deeply grateful to all those who served in this and every war.  Please take a moment today to silently feel that gratitude.
