The Countdown Begins!

These seven girls have gone through a grueling exercise over the past few months and have ended up being the pick of the crop!

May we first of all say, “Heartfelt congratulations!”.  These wonderful young ladies represent what is known in Pasadena, and indeed the world by the time New Year’s Eve rolls around, as “The Rose Court”.  They have been vetted and questioned and everything in between and have ended up, out of several hundred girls, being the chosen few.

These girls will represent The Rose Court at many, many functions including riding in The Rose Parade where millions of people will see them in person and many million more on the television.  If you have never seen The Rose Parade, it is definitely worth tuning in to.  Everything in the Parade (and it is a very long one) has to be real – whether it be seeds, leaves, flowers, bulbs, it has to be real.  The floats are truly second to none – built with such love, care and detail.

Certainly, for us who live in and around the Pasadena area, this is a very exciting time.  There is a buzz in the air that is easily recognizable and the celebratory spirit permeates everything.

Well done to you all!  So much love, joy and abundant living being felt.
