The London Underground, commonly known as “The Tube”, is one of the oldest such things in the world and on Tuesday…

…Queen Elizabeth, all decked out in purple, unveiled the workings of a new line.

This tube system is a wonderful, very easy to use, system.  We wrote about it a couple of years ago when it celebrated its 150th birthday!

Guess what the name of the new line will be?  The ELIZABETH LINE!  And its colour is, yes, you guessed it, PURPLE!

Joy, pure and absolute joy!

Long live The Queen!

What a wonderful report & update! And how appropriate that The Queen wore a purple outfit to go and open the station on the purple tube line. “MIND THE GAP”!!
Now, if you would please update inquiring minds on The Kensington Palace employee paycut scandal involving the Princess of the house. Not so nice!

Yes, it is lovely that HRM The Queen wore purple to go with the color of the Elizabeth Line. We have a feeling, the colour of the line is purple BECAUSE it is her line.
Regarding the paycut scandal at Kensington Palace, from what we are understanding, the employees who might be getting a pay cut are not employees who work directly for HRH’s William and Catherine but employees who work at the Palace showing the public around.
