Mind Your Manners!

images

“Are ‘good manners’ really important?”, one might ask.

Well, your Two Chums think that, yes, good manners are extremely important!

With Thanksgiving coming up, what a great time to be thinking about making sure the children in our lives know and practice good table manners.  No, we do not feel that it is an “old fashioned” thing to do.  We strongly feel that it sets your child a “cut above” if she or he has been taught good manners.

Good table manners stand out – not talking while your mouth is full, using your knife and fork in the proper way, making sure your napkin is on your lap, not putting your elbows on the table, asking politely for the salt and pepper rather than using the “boarding house reach”, just to name a few.

So, make sure that your children know good manners and have fun using them.  If they do not thank you now, they surely will later on.

More joy!
