Ant Farms

When I was a child, my father took me to the London Zoo at Regent’s Park and showed me its huge ant farm.  

We stood there for hours looking at the ants and Father certainly impressed upon me their amazing work ethic…..so much so that I have never forgotten that experience.

When our son was old enough, I ordered one of these ant farms and had great fun, again, watching the ants working, working, working.  In fact, did you know that ants can pull about 30 times their own weight and lift about 50 times their own weight?  That is absolutely amazing!
