A Blessing

Though it is not our usual Encore post for a Saturday…we wanted to offer this to you today. Yesterday Leonard Nimoy passed away. By all accounts he was a very nice man and a fine actor who played the memorable character, Mr. Spock, on the mega hit TV show and movie franchise, Star Trek. In an interview a while back he spoke about his gratitude for the success and financial freedom his career gave him.

These words made famous by the character Mr. Spock, are a blessing we offer to each of you:

“Live long and prosper.”

We want for each of you a long, abundant life filled with love and joy 🙂

I grew up watching star trek and just read yesterday that his “live long and prosper” hand signal is part of a Jewish blessing. What a beautiful, nerdy (Trekkies) legacy to leave behind. His fans are constantly blessing each other.
